This ZEBx event was hosted by BCIT and took place in their High-Performance Building Lab on their Burnaby campus.

For this Tech Demo workshop, we featured the Oxygen8, a two-time recipient of CleanBC’s Building Innovation Fund. Although the company was incorporated in 2019, its innovative decentralized ventilation equipment is already in use throughout North America. This was an opportunity to learn about the latest in locally-manufactured dedicated outside air systems (DOAS) and heat and energy recovery ventilators (H/ERV) for schools, offices, senior care facilities, and multi-family buildings. Their low-profile, very high-efficiency equipment easily integrates with VRF heat pump technology, can provide 100% fresh, filtered air and includes demand control ventilation.
