ZEBx serves as an industry Centre of Excellence that strengthens the public, private, and civic capacities for zero emission buildings in Vancouver and throughout British Columbia. We facilitate knowledge exchange between a variety of professionals in the building industry and maintain a community of practice through events and resource development. ZEBx brings together industry silos, and collaborates with industry associations, governments, utilities, researchers, educational institutions, suppliers and global experts.

The electrification of buildings plays a significant role in ZEBx’s mandate of reducing emissions and helping decarbonize the building industry and infrastructure, as such, the Building Electrification Coalition (Coalition) will be an integral part of the ZEBx community. ZEBx will be host to the Coalition and the Program Manager will work closely with ZEBx staff.

Position Overview

The Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for ensuring that the Coalition achieves its objectives as represented by a series of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The KPIs will be established by the Coalition’s Leadership Council and will relate to the five priorities outlined in the Building Electrification Road Map. With a strategic focus to achieve the objectives, the PM will organize and oversee the programming and daily operations of the Coalition (with assistance from both ZEBx and the Coalition’s Leadership Council) to ensure that the Coalition is well-coordinated and efficiently run.
