Annual Report 2018 – 2019
July 23, 2019Innovative Zero Emissions Wood Buildings Workshop – Victoria
September 26, 2019Past Event: September 25, 2019 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Overview
ZEBx has partnered with New York City’s Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex) to livestream BE-Ex’s event: Do No Harm: Achieving Net Zero Buildings.
Limited seats available for the livestream. We invite anyone from the ZEBx community who is unable to join the livestream to join us at 5:00pm for beer, wine and mingling.
Join the North American Passive House Network (NAPHN), the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), and BE-Ex for this Climate Week event on the role of urban, high-density, net-zero energy projects in meeting the demands of our climate crisis.
Framed by ILFI’s recent work with Salesforce on net-zero energy projects and the role of Passive House as a powerful demand reduction strategy, this discussion will illuminate the power of urban zero energy targets to meet both our long-term climate action goals as well as near term targets like New York City’s carbon emissions limits for buildings (LL 97). Featuring large-scale, real world projects, this event will squarely address the challenges we face by offering effective solutions that form a roadmap to equitable and sustainable communities.
This event was generously sponsored by the Living Future Vancouver (LFV) Collaborative, the Lower Mainland’s local chapter for the International Living Future Institute: “a group of engaged, global citizens who are working to bring sustainable design to their region.”
