Oct 2021 Decarb Lunch: From Net-Zero Energy to Near-Zero Emissions

The monthly ZEBx Decarb Lunch brings together the local building community to discuss emerging solutions and barriers related to zero emission buildings.

Happening this Month

This month’s event will feature speakers and examples from the local industry and is a collaboration with BC Housing.

Achieving a net-zero-energy level of performance is a challenge in areas with a relatively low solar energy yield, like Vancouver. When Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation turned to Local Practice Architecture and Design to assess their performance target for an affordable housing project, the goalposts shifted. Join ZEBx, BC Housing, Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation and Local Practice Architecture and Design for a compelling story on the evolution of a performance target – from good to great.

Join us at our Decarb Lunch to find out!
